Jeannette Aguilar

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Hola, I’m Jeannette Aguilar, a bilingual Spanish-speaking Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and I’m honored to be part of your journey toward healing and self-discovery.

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Spanish Speaking Client Certification. As a bilingual therapist, I am passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued, just as you are.

For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in Community Mental Health Organizations across various levels of care—including outpatient, residential, and crisis settings. My work is grounded in meeting clients where they are—with empathy, respect, genuine compassion, and cultural sensitivity. I believe that each person holds the strength to heal, and my role is to walk alongside you as we uncover those strengths together. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse and often under-served communities, supporting those navigating challenges like trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and challenges with self-esteem.

Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I draw upon evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Client-Centered Therapy to support each client’s unique journey. Whether you’re seeking clarity, connection, or simply someone to hold space for your story, I’m here to walk alongside you. My commitment is to walk beside you with steadiness and empathy as you move toward healing, resilience, and a more empowered version of yourself.
