Mackenzie Morrison

I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a love of working along side my clients as they work towards making those difficult changes in their lives. In my clinical work so far I have worked with all ages from kiddos, adolescents, and adults in their struggles with anxiety, depression, work life struggles, communication, and the common stressors that come with life in general.

Aside from the psychological and counseling education I received from California State University, Northridge and California Lutheran University, I have extra certifications in coparenting work, The Gottman Method for couples therapy, psychological first aid and am actively in training foe Perinatal Mental Health! I love reading books pertaining to new therapeutic methods as well as those I am not well versed in so that I can expand my existing knowledge of the field to better help my clients in their healing journey!

Therapy can be a very uncomfortable process as change does not happen within your comfort zone. I ultimately want to allow my clients the space for vulnerable conversation in a way that is as easy as talking to your best friend!
